Congratulations to our CEO, Danny Assabgy on winning Building & Construction Executive of the Year at the 2016 Executive of the Year Awards.

The Awards were held at Four Points by Sheraton, Darling Harbour in Sydney on Thursday, November 24. The Awards celebrate the best in business, acknowledging the individual achievements of inspiring and successful leaders in the business world.

The Executive of the Year Awards, hosted by Eddie McGuire, now in its fifth consecutive year, is a true celebration of Australia’s leading business talents. Finalists were judged by a six-person panel including: Naomi Simson, Founder of Red Balloon, Mark van Dyck, Managing Director of Compass Group, Scott Stavretis, CEO of Acquire BPO, Chris Dutton, Founder & CEO of The CEO Magazine and The CEO Magazine’s Managing Director, Daniel Di Loreto.

The judges had said that Mr Assabgy is a “competitive forward thinker who engages with local communities to create high-quality and demographically-suited products” and further stated that “under his guidance, their company had experienced significant growth”.

“I am honoured to have been awarded the 2016 Building and Construction Executive of the Year, an acknowledgement that I know I could not have been achieved if it wasn’t for the hard work and dedication of the entire Hudson team” says Mr Assabgy, “we work in an industry were a thousand things can, and often do, go wrong. And we understand that very well. In my role as CEO, my aim is not to eliminate all the things that can go wrong but rather to  minimise and manage them when they do. As a company, I believe, we have made a positive commitment to achieving that goal.”
