We partner with Youngcare to build their #1 NSW disability homes
Hudson Homes are proud to support in the construction of Youngcare's first NSW specialist disability accommodation!
The disabled community have a range of very specific needs, and these homes will be specifically built with these needs in mind for those who will live in them. Providing homes designed for people with disability stops vulnerable people from being placed in residential care, nursing homes or inappropriate public housing and gives them a place to call home.
Youngcare is a not-for-profit organisation, which has successfully been operating in Queensland for the past 15 years. Their mission is to provide housing for people with disabilities that is a true home, not a facility or institution. We have partnered with Youngcare to build two homes, which will allow for six residents. Each home will have three bedrooms, three bathrooms, space for the carers to stay and features such as hoists to provide assistance.
The project is estimated to be completed by the end of this year (2022), then residents will be able to live in these homes through their NDIS plans.
