Crimson 26: Product Review by the Robinsons
“When we decided to build with Hudson Homes we had seen display homes for the Cedar 28 and the Tiffany 24. We loved both designs but when it came to picking a home that not only fitted our lifestyle and budget, but also our block of land, we couldn’t go past the Crimson 26.
The floorplan had everything we wanted in a home and the layout of all the rooms worked perfectly for our young family. The problem was, we hadn’t actually walked through one. We had faith in the floorplan though and started building! Our home now has frames and a tiled roof!
A few days ago, we were finally able to go see the brand new Crimson 26 display home in Huntlee. Our family of 5 was extremely excited on the drive to get there!
The actual product certainly lived up to our expectations. One of our favourite features is the layout of the master bedroom. The first room you pass when you enter the home is our own personal retreat. A generous size room, with an impressive walk-in wardrobe placed behind the wall and leading in to a stylish ensuite that even has the toilet tucked away in the back corner for privacy (we are assuming the architect had small children too, or at least knows what it’s like to never actually go to the bathroom alone).
We found the entrance to be grand enough that you feel like you’re walking in to a sizeable home, but not so big that the space was wasted. Coming in to the main family area, there’s a separate study (which Peter is really excited about and has claimed as his own), a kitchen that overlooks the family room (where Jenna will be able to wash dishes at night while the tv on the opposite wall entertains her with Netflix), followed by a dining room and at the back, a separate movie room which was a must for us! We love that the family and dining rooms look out onto an alfresco area as we love spending time outside with family and friends. The kitchen is the centre of it all and really seems to tie all the living areas together.
The final area, is mainly dedicated to the children. We are so excited they have their own space, all 3 bedrooms lead to a kid’s activity area (yay for keeping the family and media rooms clean and toy free!!) and they also have their own big bathroom with separate water closet, which is a must when there’s a boy versus two girls vying for bathroom time.
It was important to us to get as many of the rooms we wanted, and still stay on budget. Of all the builders we looked at, Hudson Homes were the only ones that could deliver this.
For the Robinson family- functionality + affordability = Crimson 26“
